To ascertain if funding for the Chambers (Shannon, Ennis, Limerick and Galway) and the Irish Hotels Federation's Traffic Recovery Support Scheme (TRSS) would be included in Budget 2022 thereby allocating the level of support required to restore vital air connectivity to Shannon Airport & type of incentivisation that airlines, via airports need to aid recovery of routes into Ireland's regional airports.

Organised by Chambers Ireland, the purpose of this meeting with Ministers Paschal Donohoe and Michael McGrath & Minister of State Ossian Smyth was to discuss Chambers Irelands' and the wider Chamber Network's proposals for the 2022 national budget. This broadly encompasses the areas of a strategy for towns and cities/urban Ireland; Delivering on Climate Action and Sustainable Infrastructure; and Inclusive and Productive Local Economies.
