Intended results
To brief the Minister on Veterinary Ireland views and concerns in relation to the national implementation of the EU Veterinary Medicines Regulations (EU 2019/6).
To brief the Minister on Veterinary Ireland views and concerns in relation to the ownership of veterinary practices / availability of vets in rural areas.
To brief the Minister on Veterinary Ireland views and concerns in relation to DAFM's proposed new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Contracted Veterinary Services.
To discuss with the Minister a review of Knowledge Transfer (KT) and Pillar 2 CAP Funding.
To brief the Minister on the need for DAFM to restore all FEMPI reductions under ERAD and to provide increased financial support for AHCS.
To request the Minister to arrange a future meeting with Veterinary Ireland on Animal Welfare issues.
