Email All TDs Individual emails / phone calls were forwarded / made by Planet staff to TD's and Senators directly, in addition to contact (email and phone) from a lobbyist contracted for the period. Email templates were shared with client retailers to help ensure a standard message to TD's many of which would have been forwarded to their local representatives

Throughout Q4 a number of emails would have been sent by Planet staff to their local TD's and Senators raising the proposed change in legislation affecting the Retail Export Scheme, principally regarding the fact that such legislation did not include an impact assessment and would have negative impacts on retail and tourism sectors. We provided an industry impact assessment to updates members

Phone call (2-5)

A number of TD's and Senators were contacted by phone to follow up on points raised by email and also to assist their understand of the issue.
