Specific Details In June 2020 CESCA wrote a letter to Micheal Martin during the Government formation negotiations and in response to the Finna Fail/Fine Gael Framework for a New Programme for Government raising awareness of issues relating to marginalised communities and the community and voluntary sector.

Intended results We sought a meeting with Mr. Martin in order to discuss issues pertaining to marginalised communities and the sustainability of the community and voluntary sector in light of the Covid 19 crisis and during the Government formation talks. We also wanted the letter itself to raise awareness on these matters with Mr. Martin for consideration in the development of the next Programme for Government.

Our letter was sent by email to Mr. Martin on the 4th of June 2020 highlighting our concerns about the sustanability of and the need for supports of the community and voluntary sector in the next Programme for Government. We also highlighted our view of the need for greater supports for marginalised communities in the next Programme for Government
