Specific Details Women's Aid requested an opportunity to meet with newly appointed Ministers to brief them on the ongoing challenges in tackling domestic violence. Women's Aid made recommendations to inform future policy decisions that we believe would lead to improved responses and supports for victims of domestic violence.

Intended results To meet with the ministers to discuss the implementation of a cohesive and effective Government strategy to tackle domestic violence and would deliver improved services and supports for victims of domestic violence.

In July 2020, Women's Aid requested an opportunity to meet Ministers and brief them regarding ongoing challenges in tackling domestic violence. We made many recommendations that we believe would lead to improved legal and systemic responses and safer outcomes for women and children.
