ALTO sought a meeting with the Sec Gen at Communications or DCCAE to discuss delays and concerns over the European Electronic Communications Code works, in addition to seeking a status update on the wider legislative programmes within the Department. ALTO has been engaged at AP and PO level on the stakeholder engagements, however members are slightly anxious over certain issues (timing, drafting and lack of updated national framework legislation at primary level) arising from the consultation processes.
