* The transposition into Irish law of the EU Unfair Trading Practices Directive as a matter of urgency, in line with the EU Agri Markets Taskforce Report
* Provision of supports for new technology and innovation to enhance the beef industry including a national sexed semen laboratory facility
* Ban on deforestation beef imported from Brazil
* Increased quality assurance bonus payments on all cattle from quality assured farms
* Promotion of QA scheme to encourage all beef farmers to enroll in Bord Bia QA Scheme
