Specific Details Further to a previous sitting held with the Minister on the 21st May it was agreed to hold a housing dialogue with relevant stakeholders to discuss in detail some of the current challenges facing homebuilders and developers. The agenda provided for comprehensive discussions on; Projected Delivery of Housing by IHBA Members, Continued Support for First Time Buyers, Central Bank Macro Prudential Rules, Affordable Schemes, Increasing Costs, Serviced Lands, Construction Products Regulation.

A half day sitting was held in Leinster House on the 11th July with a delegation from the IHBA and representations from the Department of Housing Planning and Local Government including Minister Eoghan Murphy, Department of Finance, Construction Sector Group, Irish Water and the City and County Management Association.
