Campaign to retain and secure the provision of sports amenities for the South West Inner City Dublin - in particular the retention of all playing fields at Dolphin Park, Dublin 12 which are the subject of a planning application for redevelopment to housing
Intended results
To secure retention of the existing sports fields in Dolphin Park without any loss of playing pitches with assistance of the state, sporting bodies & the GAA & to seek the provision of more sports facilities within Sth West Inner City for population of 50,000+ and for local schools - to protect all existing green spaces and sports amenities. Support sought to ensure that no part of the vital sports grounds built on at Dolphin Park resulting in loss of green open space under Z9

To lobby all Councillors, Politicians and public representatives to ensure the protection of green open space at Z9 Zoned lands at Dolphin Park, Dublin 12; to ensure that no ground is lost to development of residential accommodation on these grounds - planning application 2724/19 submitted to DCC - all asked to write letters of objection to proposed development.
