Intended results The Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation (DBEI) improves and makes more transparent the process for reviewing and making changes to Labour Migration Policy and the Employment Permit System The DBEI removes certain categories from ineligible categories of employment for employment permits The DBEI works with the Department of Justice and Equality to introduce transitional measures to allow undocumented workers apply for work permits The DBEI increases protections for workers including introduction of sector based permits and better provision of info on employment rights
