Specific Details Residential care supports for vulnerable Deaf people.

Intended results The HSE continue to place vulnerable Deaf people who are sign language users in homes for hearing people. A 2015 HSE Working Group Report into the Residential Care needs of Vulnerable Deaf people recommended that such residential care support should be provided through Irish Sign Language in homes dedicated for deaf residents. We are seeking implementation of the Working Group report recommendations.
