Details were included in the e mail explaining the need to recycle phosphorus and nitogen from domestic human urine. The finite resources remaining of mineral phosphorus. The projections for the depletion of this mineral from various countries. The implications for food prices and future food shortages. The position of Europe as a region with no phosphorus resources of its own. The effects on the price for buying imported fertilizer into Ireland. The growing problems of toxic metals such as Cadmnium in the commercial mineral fertilizers being used on farm land in Europe and Ireland. The conserns that this toxic metal will begin to accumulate in European and Iris soils and from there might emerge in the food chain. The importance of separated human urine as a clean sustainable source of nitrogen and phosphorus that can be recycled and that also contains the lowest concentration of toxic metals.
