On 28th June 2026, at an event in the 3Arena, Robert Murray, as a Director and Council Member of Drogheda & District Chamber, met Minister Jack Chambers, accompanied by Chamber Vice-President Jasmine Mathew. The Minister was invited to visit Drogheda and meet Drogheda Port regarding its development plans, including the proposed Bremore expansion. A formal written invitation followed on 29th June, seeking to highlight the Port’s regional significance and Drogheda’s wider economic potential.
