Specific Details Continued engagement with the Department of Climate, Energy and Environment on the General Scheme of the proposed Private Wires legislation to provide technical input on the draft provisions, including their potential impact on electricity network planning, operation and funding, and to inform the development of definitions and structural arrangements within the proposed framework.

Intended results To provide technical input to the proposed legislation aimed at reducing or mitigating potential safety and technical risks, and to enhance clarity in the definitions and boundaries within the framework to facilitate effective and consistent implementation.
