Ambassador Fergal Mythen attended an event organised by the RNLI, Government of Ireland & Government of Bangladesh at the UN High Level Political Forum in New York in July. He was one of the co-chairs of the event & spoke of the importance of drowning prevention, the challenges faced in Ireland and worldwide, and the importance of appropriate solutions for all communities. RNLI colleagues, with the WHO, updated on the work of the RNLI globally & in Tanzania. Best wishes offered for new post.
