Intended results
To exclude printed material from the scope of forthcoming EUDR legislation, safeguarding European citizens' access to literature, knowledge and cultural diversity. Books represent a low-risk, high-quality product supply chain which does not contribute to global deforestation, especially considering that the vast majority of books sold in Europe are already printed on PEFC or FSC-certified paper (with levels as high as 98% in major markets, such as France) and imported from low-risk countries.
