Specific Details The INOU was part of a delegation from the Community and Voluntary Pillar that met with Ministers Noonan and Donohue to discuss Budget 2017 and its need to address income adequacy and the development of properly resourced and inclusive person centred public and social services.

Intended results To secure a more equitable and inclusive Budgetary process and address the social and economic exclusion facing so many unemployed people.

Meeting (1)

The INOU's Pre-Budget submission had been sent to the Minister for Finanace, Michael Noona TD and the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, Pascal Donohoe TD and the organisation used the meeting to urge the Ministers to address the issues of income adequacy facing so many unemployed people and others of working age struggling to manage on a social welfare payment.
