IPRT's Executive Director, Saoirse Brady, met Deputy O'Callaghan on 12 April, to discuss penal reform priorities such as: the need for sentencing guidelines, the need for new parole regulations, concerns re prison expansion, alternatives to imprisonment, accountability in the penal system, the ratification of OPCAT, etc.
