Alison Harnett (National Federation Chief Executive) exchanged a number of emails with Colm O'Conaill (Assistant Secretary) to arrange 1 in person meeting and 1 virtual meeting.

Virtual Meeting (1)

13th Sept 2023 - An meeting was held with Colm O'Conaill (Assistant Secretary) and other DCEDIY staff. During the meeting key challenges facing the disability sector were discussed, including pay parity for Section 39 organisations. The attendees from the National Federation were as follows: Alison Harnett (National Federation CEO), Clare Dempsey (National Federation Board Member), Fiona O'Neill (National Federation Board Member) and Pat Reen (National Federation Pay Parity Task Group).

15th Sept 2023 - A meeting was held with Colm O'Conaill to discuss key challenges facing the sector, ongoing developments in relation to the Department, the HSE reform into Regional Health Areas, and his views on the future of disability services and supports. It was attended by Alison Harnett (National Federation Chief Executive), Michael Hennessy (National Federation Chairperson), Clare Dempsey (National Federation Board Member) and Fiona O'Neill (National Federation Board Member).
