In the period May - August 2023, IPRT's Acting Executive Director and Legal and Public Affairs Manager (Maternity Cover) exchanged emails with Deputy Ivana Bacik re arranging a meeting to discuss the next steps of All-Party Oireachtas Group on Penal Reform.

Virtual Meeting (1)

Following the emails, there was an online meeting between IPRT's Acting Executive, IPRT's Legal & Public Affairs Manager, Deputy Ivana Bacik and her political advisor re next steps for the Group in May 2023. Decisions were made regarding Deputy Bacik identifying a new co-chair of the Group, the date of the next meeting of the Group, potential topic and possible types of speakers.
