In addition to mass communication letter above to all cabinet ministers, we sent a letter via Kevin Barrett and Charlotte Simpson to request meetings to discuss our 2023 pre-budget submission.
Meeting (2-5)
Appeared before the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence to raise awareness of global food and climate crises, and ask Committee members to consider Dóchas' pre-budget submission in their budget deliberations and support an increase in offical development assistance in Budget 2023, including support for global food crises. Also met separately with Paschal Donohoe, and Colm Brophy, to raise awareness of global food and climate crises, and ask each DPO to consider Dóchas' pre-budget submission in their budget deliberations, and to support an increase in offical development assistance in Budget 2023, including support for global food crises.
