Specific Details A meeting was held with Minister of State Sean Fleming and his officials to introduce Intact CEO, Charles Brindamour, following the completion of the transaction for Intact to acquire RSA. As part of the meeting, there was a discussion on public policy priorities including the new Judicial Council guidelines on personal injury awards and the Canadian experience stabilizing personal injury costs. In addition, there was a discussion on RSA’s customer propositions such as telematics.

Intended results To allow for an open dialogue on Intact’s future in Ireland. In addition, the meeting reaffirmed RSA’s support for the Government’s Action Plan for Insurance Reform and its measures to control costs.
