Enforcement of EU spirits regulations. An enquiry about how the Department enforces EU spirits regulations as they apply to the Irish Whisky GI. Seeking confirmation that all Irish whisky labels and marketing material, not just new label applications, will be examined on at least an annual basis by the Department or another agency of the State to ensure strict compliance with all relevant EU spirit provenance regulations.
