Intended results Recognition of deafblindness. This could provide the basis for a national diagnosis programme, early intervention services, communication supports and improved quality of life for people who are deafblind. Specific supports requested were intervenor, interpreter, personal assistance hours, transport assistance and technology grants for assistive technologies.
