Specific Details Requesting rezoning of a floodplain between our community and the sea from Town Centre (in 2005) to its original Open Space zoning.

Social Media All Councillors We encouraged people to email, phone or talk directly to Bray Municipal District councillors to ask them to return the floodplain to Open Space in the upcoming Local Area Development Plan.

The following activities occurred for this specific Subject Matter Area.

Email (2-5)

Asking Chairman of Wicklow County Council - who passed it on to the Protocol Committee - to be allowed address the full Council, not just Bray Municipal District, on our submission to have the floodplain rezoned as Open Space before they vote on on it for the upcoming Local Development Plan.

Phone call (11-20)

Phoned most of the Bray Municipal District councillors asking them to meet/engage with us regarding the rezoning of the floodplain (the remaining councillors to be contacted).

Meeting (1)

Met with a local councillor who was unclear as to the necessity of retaining a floodplain when there are man-made flood defences in place and explained the OPW's guidelines on this.
