Following a Mar26 roundtable (previous return), clinicians, policymakers, researchers & patient representatives from across Ireland collaborated to identify barriers to radioligand therapy access & develop policy solutions. Their work informed a report setting out actionable recommendations to strengthen leadership, redesign pathways, expand workforce & infrastructure, and improve data systems for future-ready cancer care. The report was launched at the All-Island Cancer Summit on 19 May 2026.

On 28 August 2026, on behalf of the Heart Failure Policy Network (HFPN), Lisa McCudden (St Vincent's Hospital, Ireland) emailed Irish policymakers regarding the developing EU Council Recommendation on Health Checks. The email shared a petition letter endorsed by Irish clinicians and patient advocates, outlining recommendations to improve heart failure detection and care, and invited discussion on how Ireland could support these priorities in future EU policy discussions.
