The event marked the official opening of The Alzheimer Society of Ireland’s (ASI) Cappoquin Day Care Centre on Friday, June 5, and was attended by Deputy Mayor Cllr John Pratt, Minister Kieran O'Donnell TD, Government Chief Whip and Minister Mary Butler TD, Minister John Cummins TD, Dr Ben Murphy, ASI Board member David Stanton, ASI CEO Andy Heffernan, and ASI’s Siobhan O'Connor. Located in Cappoquin, Co. Waterford, the new service is designed to support people living with dementia.
