After the initial letter was sent, a meeting was arranged with Deputy Ó Muirí to discuss the role of energy storage in Ireland's electricity system and ESI's three priority policy asks — establishing a clear route to market for long-duration energy storage, reforming network charges for battery storage, and colocation of renewable infrastructure.
