To thank Deputy Bakic for raising this issue of reading schools and classes in the Dáil, re the effective moratorium on opening more reading classes, which is at odds with the policy of increasing other special classes nationwide. Also raised the issue of exam accommodations as there is no stand-alone extra time available for dyslexia, and limited access to technology in exams. Offered to meet to discuss in more depth.
