Specific Details IrDEA attended the Renewable Energy Ireland Heat Forum, which focused on identifying policy barriers to the development of the district energy sector. This included the need for a consenting, regulatory, and funding framework for the sector.

Intended results To improve understanding of the barriers faced by the sector and to request that policy solutions be produced, including addressing the lack of a consenting and regulatory framework for potential district energy projects and the need for investment in the sector.
